Chickadee Music, hatched in 2015, was founded by Director Amanda McConoughey. Research-based and developmentally appropriate family music classes are at the heart of Chickadee Music and we use the Music Together® program—a rich, diverse, and fun music education curriculum for babies, toddlers and preschoolers (0–5 years) and their parents or caregivers. Music Together is the gold standard in early childhood music education and is followed by families in more than forty countries worldwide.
We are the first center in Montreal to offer this wonderful program to families. All classes are taught by a Quebec-certified music teacher trained in early childhood music education and licensed to use the Music Together curriculum.
In the future, Chickadee Music will also showcase original songs and performances for children, so please stay tuned.
